WYOMING !!!

Elevation change of about 1700 ft today, but because of the tailwind and low grade of the climbs, this turned out to be the easiest 81 miles I've ever ridden. The scenery made the time pass so quickly: there were many buttes along the way which I'd never seen before, which are basically massive sandstone-looking cliffs that are slowly disintegrating into sand, and we could see mountains off in the distance.

Lusk is very touristy compared to any of the cities we saw in Nebraska! They actually carry quite a few postcards here, as well as other items indicating a bustling tourism industry. Apparently a lot of people stop by on their way to Yellowstone National Park, as well as South Dakota's Mount Rushmore.

I came up with a way to keep my arms from toasting in the sun at last. This western items store had a white shirt for $6. The shirt wasn't tight enough for the sleeves to be arm warmers, so I cut off everything except the back of the shirt to connect the arms. They appeared to work out pretty well. At least my arms don't look more burned today.
