Old School.

Margaret and I got together for lunch today. I told her about my job finding woes, and she reassured me that she went through the same thing this past summer.

After lunch though, we walked over to the U of C Lab School and she showed me around her classroom. It's crazy to think that she's teaching kids as old as we were when we first met. (Well, we met in 2nd grade, and she's teaching kindergarten kids.)

She was busy putting together the activity for the afternoon: making fish! It's craft-making to teach fine motor skills and sharing etc. Watching her plan out the order of events, I thought she looked incredibly professional and put together. Yay, Margaret for finding a job and rocking it!

As for my job ...

Don't get too much stress. Try to do things that you could not do because of lack of time. Once you start working, you may feel taht your jobless period was too short.
