A really bizarre part of living in the same neighborhood as the President of the United States is that you always know when he's in town! I was driving home on Lakeshore Drive one day, and all the way back from the McCormick Place, my mom and I saw about 20-30 police cars gaurding the exits. Also driving on Woodlawn and 51st Street with Bernard once, we saw the street blockaded off with more police cars. I feel bad for the people who live on that street now ... how crazy is it that they need to show ID simply to go home.
