Career Fair now and Career Fair as a freshman is like a Knight with his feifdom compared to a peasant.
I remember all the representatives looking at me in my suit quizzically almost, and for lack of anything better to say, compliment me for getting interested in work at such an early age, but that they couldn't possibly take me on.
Then I got the internship in Seoul, and I began to understand why ... I won't say that I was entirely useless, but it was something pretty close to that.
Anyways. I didn't get any actual intervies, but several people told me to e-mail them in a few weeks if i haven't heard back from them. It gives me hope that they aren't simply saying the usual, please check out our website, it was nice talking to you. I was surprised to hear a lot of people complimenting my work sample portfolio. After that NBBJ rep told me to make it bigger, I was convinced that it was completely outdated and that I should have gone in with a new one, but I guess I was mistaken in a good way. It did cause me to lose a lot of sleep while I was in Versailles, but it's certainly making my life so much easier now that i have it to show people. And the new addition of my most recent projects are certainly helping too.
Nothing new on the Bike and Build front. Been feeling a bit out of sorts recently, so not much training. I did sell another book though :D I'm going to have to send in a check for those donations pretty soon.
