Another beautiful, sunny day and less windy. This ride was infinitely easier because I didn't have to deal with the wind on the way back. I suppose there was a north head wind on the way back, but it was only 3-4 mph.
I got a postcard from Shannon in Ireland today ! She found this postcard of a bike named "Amphibious bicycle," and it has what looks like a motorboat engine turbine on it! I wonder how it works exactly ... Sounds like she's having a good time where she is, in cities with names that seem to be straight out of Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons. I didn't know that there were parts of Ireland where people still spoke Gaelic. I've heard it's a very difficult language to learn.
