Biked 45 miles today on the charity ride with a couple of other people who happened to be on the ride. We had a ridiculous tail wind going out, but it turns out we built up the headwind so much it wasn't actually that bad coming back. (In fact, the ride yesterday was much worse - I was crawling out at 6mph at one point, and I was able to coast for over half a mile on the way back). The roads chosen were good, the weather was gorgeous. It was also funny because the one guy, Joel, has a Giant OCR 2 which is what I used to have, and the other guy Tony has a Specialized Roubaix. Ha ha ha. Looked like I was with exactly my type of people: not necessarily competitive racers, but long distance endurance.
Homework time.
