Hi everyone!
Myself and my bicycle have made it to Providence ok. I had a friendly cab driver with a great New York accent who gave me a low down on the cool hang outs and museums around Brown University campus, and I've finally met some fellow Bike and Builders who also opted to come early.
The cables on my bike seem to have survived through the trip. I don't think I'll even have to retension them. The Roubaix Compact has caused some wonder already, as Jeff and Hannah decided to get the default Allez Triple, and Marita got the Dolce upgrade. What can I say, I really liked shiny upgrades.
Orientation tomorrow!

Glad you and the bike made it!
I had never thought that packing a bike was that difficult. It was like, after you dug a hole on a ground, and to fill again with the soil from the hole, you can never put all the soil back to the hole.
Anyway, congratulations on your arrival.
Dad
I'm leaving you a pointless good luck comment...but I will also use this as a public opportunity to announce that the lucky man who proposes to you should buy you a carbon fiber ring. Um...scatter!
Viel Erfolg on your ride! I am excited for on-the-road updates!
hey Sophia! I'm glad you're bike made it, that is pleasing to the soul! Have fun! (I'd like to sincerely apologize for the excessive use of exclamation points)! (yes, I realize that the exclamation point after the apology for using excessive exclamation points sort of undermines the apology)!
